Paymattic

The Paymattic integration tracks submissions and payments from your Paymattic (WP Payment Form) forms. When a visitor submits a form or completes a payment, Conversion Bridge sends that conversion to your analytics and ad platforms automatically.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Enable the Integration

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Settings → Conversion Bridge → Integrations
  2. Find Paymattic in the list of integrations
  3. Check the box to enable it

Step 2: Choose Which Forms to Track

Paymattic gives you one option per form. For each form you want to track:

  1. Check Track submissions for [form name]
  2. Optionally set a custom label so the conversion is easy to spot in your analytics

The customer's email, name, and phone from the submission are sent for enhanced conversions automatically. For more on labels and values, see What are the Conversion Label and Conversion Value fields?

Step 3: Save Settings

Click Save Changes to start tracking your conversions.

How It Works

  • Conversion Bridge tracks a Paymattic form when the confirmation message or receipt page appears, whether the form shows a message in place or redirects to a receipt.
  • A form that collects a payment is tracked as a purchase, with the amount and any purchased items.
  • A form with no payment is tracked as a form submission (a lead).
  • Each submission is only tracked once, even if the visitor reloads the page.

Tracked Data

Every event includes a conversion label and conversion value. See What are the Conversion Label and Conversion Value fields? for details.

  • transaction_id — the payment's transaction ID (for paid forms)
  • value — the payment total (for paid forms)
  • currency — the currency code
  • items — purchased items, including item_name, price, and quantity (for paid forms)

Enhanced conversion data (sent when available):

  • email — the customer's email address
  • first_name — the customer's first name
  • last_name — the customer's last name
  • phone — the customer's phone number, when the form has a phone field

Enhanced Conversions

When enhanced conversions is enabled, Conversion Bridge includes the customer's email, name, and phone with each conversion. This data is securely hashed and sent to platforms that support it (such as Google Ads and Meta Ads) to improve conversion matching. No raw personal data is sent.

Conversion Journeys

Each submission is linked to the visitor's conversion journey — the page-by-page path they took before converting. This helps you see which pages and campaigns lead to the most submissions and payments.

UTM Parameters and Ad Click IDs

Conversion Bridge saves the visitor's UTM parameters and ad click IDs with each Paymattic entry automatically, so you can export them or send them through your CRM feeds for offline conversion import. Ad click IDs are only saved when the visitor has granted marketing consent. You can read more about passing UTM parameters and ad click IDs into forms.

Custom Event Labels

Each form has its own label field so you can name conversions clearly in your analytics. The default label is "Form Submission: [form name]". Use %title% in a custom label to insert the form's name.
