Media

The media tracking integration is not tied to any specific plugin but works with core features of WordPress including:

  • Video plays
  • Audio plays
  • YouTube video plays
  • File Downloads
  • Image clicks

Tracking video plays in WordPress

WordPress allows you to upload video files such as mp4 directly into your site and embed them into a post/page on your site. Conversion Bridge can track when the play button on these videos is clicked giving you insights into how many times the video has been played.

Currently only works with videos embedded with the Video block.

Tracking audio plays in WordPress

WordPress allows you to upload audio files such as mp3 directly into your site and embed them into a post/page on your site. Conversion Bridge can track when the play button on these audio clips is clicked giving you insights into how many times the track has been played.

Currently only works with audio embedded with the Audio block.

Tracking YouTube plays in WordPress

WordPress allows you to embed YouTube videos into your site. Conversion Bridge can track when the play button on these videos is clicked giving you insights into how many times the video has been played.

Currently only works with videos embedded with the YouTube block.

Tracking file downloads in WordPress

Conversion Bridge can listen for file downloads of any file type. When enabled, it will listen for file downloads with the following extensions: doc, pdf, ppt, zip, xls, docx, pptx, xlsx

Any URL on your site that links to a file with one of these extensions will be tracked as a conversion in your analytics platform.

Tracking image clicks in WordPress

Similar to file downloads, any time an image is clicked (most likely to be enlarged) it can be tracked as a conversion.

Currently only works with images embedded with the Image block.
