Popup Maker

Conversion Bridge tracks popup interactions from Popup Maker as conversions. You can track when popups open, close, and when visitors submit subscription forms — all configured on a per-popup basis.

Setup Instructions

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Settings > Conversion Bridge > Integrations.
  2. Find Popup Maker in the list and enable the integration.
  3. Click See Popups or go to Popup Maker > All Popups to configure tracking on individual popups.

Configuring Tracking on a Popup

Each popup has its own Conversion Tracking settings tab:

  1. Edit a popup in Popup Maker.
  2. Click the Conversion Tracking tab.
  3. Enable the events you want to track:
  4. Enable Form Submission Conversion Tracking — Fires when a visitor submits a subscription form inside the popup
  5. Enable Popup Open Conversion Tracking — Fires when the popup opens
  6. Enable Popup Close Conversion Tracking — Fires when the popup closes
  7. Optionally customize the label for each event. Learn more about conversion labels and values.
  8. Save the popup.

How It Works

  • Each event type is independently controlled per popup. You can track just form submissions on one popup and just opens on another.
  • Events fire on the client side as they happen — no page reload needed.
  • Form submission tracking works with Popup Maker's built-in subscription forms.

Tracked Data

Every event includes a conversion label and conversion value.

All popup events include:

  • id — The popup ID
  • title — The popup title

Enhanced conversion data

For form submission events, Conversion Bridge automatically captures the subscriber's email address from the form and includes it as enhanced conversion data. No additional setup is needed.

  • _email — The subscriber's email address

Enhanced conversion data is only sent with form submission events, not popup open or close events.

Custom Event Labels

Each event type has its own customizable label:

  • Form Submission Conversion Label — Default: "Popup Form Submission"
  • Popup Open Conversion Label — Default: "Popup Opened"
  • Popup Close Conversion Label — Default: "Popup Closed"

Custom labels help you tell different popup events apart in your analytics reports.
