Greyd

The Greyd integration tracks form submissions and button clicks from the Greyd Suite. Greyd is a WordPress theme and site builder that uses the native block editor to create full websites, complete with its own form builder and design system.

This integration tracks two types of events:

  • Form submissions: When visitors submit any Greyd form you configure
  • Button clicks: When visitors click any Greyd Button block you configure

Tracking is set up on a per-element basis. You choose exactly which forms and buttons send conversion events to your analytics and ad platforms. You can customize the conversion label and value for each one, and send customer data to supported ad platforms with enhanced conversions.

Setting Up Form Tracking

Step 1: Enable the Integration

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Settings > Conversion Bridge > Integrations
  2. Find Greyd in the list and enable the toggle
  3. Click Save Changes

Step 2: Configure a Form

Conversion Bridge adds a Conversion Tracking tab to the Greyd Forms editor. To set up tracking on a form:

  1. Go to Greyd Forms in your WordPress admin
  2. Click on the form you want to track
  3. Open the Conversion Tracking tab
  4. Check Enable Conversion Tracking
  5. Optionally enter a custom Conversion Label and Value
  6. If you use ad platforms that need their own conversion identifiers (like Google Ads), fill in the platform-specific fields that appear
  7. Click Save to start tracking your conversions

The default conversion label for forms is "Form Submission." You can replace this with anything that helps you identify the form in your analytics reports, like "Contact Form" or "Quote Request."

Setting Up Button Tracking

Conversion Bridge adds a Conversion Tracking panel to the Greyd Button block in the WordPress block editor. To track clicks on a button:

  1. Open a page or post in the block editor
  2. Click on the Greyd Button block you want to track
  3. In the block settings panel on the right, find the Conversion Tracking section
  4. Toggle Enable Conversion Tracking on
  5. Optionally enter a custom Conversion Tracking Label
  6. If you use ad platforms that need their own conversion identifiers, fill in the platform-specific fields that appear
  7. Save or publish the page

The default conversion label for buttons is the button's display text. If you set a custom label, that label is used instead.

How It Works

  • Forms: When a visitor submits a tracked Greyd form, Conversion Bridge sends a form submission event to all your connected platforms. The event fires when the form is submitted, before any redirect or confirmation.
  • Buttons: When a visitor clicks a tracked Greyd Button, Conversion Bridge sends a click event to all your connected platforms.
  • Each form and button tracks independently. You can enable tracking on some and leave others alone.
  • Each conversion is only tracked once per interaction.

Tracked Data

Every event includes a conversion label and conversion value.

Form Submission Events

  • title -- The form title
  • label -- The conversion label (default: "Form Submission")
  • id -- The form ID

Enhanced conversion data

When enhanced conversions are configured on your form fields (see below), the following data is also sent:

  • _email -- Email address
  • _first_name -- First name
  • _last_name -- Last name
  • _phone -- Phone number

Button Click Events

  • url -- The button's link URL
  • button_label -- The button's display text

Enhanced Conversions

Enhanced conversions are supported on Greyd Forms. They let you send customer data like email and name alongside the conversion event. This helps ad platforms like Google Ads and Meta better match conversions to ad clicks.

Enhanced conversions are configured at the form field level in the block editor. Each form input field has an Enhanced Conversions panel in the block settings where you can assign a data type.

Setting Up Enhanced Conversions

  1. Open the form in the block editor
  2. Click on an individual form input field
  3. In the block settings panel, open the Enhanced Conversions section
  4. From the Enhanced Conversion Type dropdown, select the type of data this field collects:
  5. Email -- Maps to _email
  6. First Name -- Maps to _first_name
  7. Last Name -- Maps to _last_name
  8. Phone -- Maps to _phone
  9. Custom -- Enter your own key for any other data
  10. Repeat for each field you want to include
  11. Save the form

Custom Enhanced Conversion Keys

If you select Custom as the enhanced conversion type, a Custom Key field appears. Enter a key name that describes the data (e.g., "company" or "job_title"). If the field contains personally identifiable information, start the key with an underscore (e.g., _address).

Conversion Journey

Conversion Bridge tracks the full conversion journey for Greyd form submissions. This shows you every page a visitor viewed and where they came from before submitting the form.

Viewing the Conversion Journey

When you view a Greyd form entry, a Conversion Journey metabox shows the complete path the visitor took before submitting the form, including:

  • Landing page and referral source
  • Pages visited
  • UTM parameters
  • Time on site

Including the Conversion Journey in Emails

You can include the conversion journey in your form notification emails by adding the [conversion_journey] template tag to the email body in your Greyd form's admin notification email settings. This is useful for sales teams who want to see how a lead found your site before filling out a form.

Custom Event Labels

You can set a custom conversion label for each form and each button.

Form default label: "Form Submission" Button default label: The button's display text

The form label supports the %title% placeholder, which is replaced with the form title. For example, a label of %title% Submission on a form called "Contact Us" would become "Contact Us Submission."

Examples of custom labels:

  • "Contact Form Submission"
  • "Newsletter Signup"
  • "Get a Quote"
  • "Download Brochure"

Platform-Specific Fields

Some ad platforms require their own conversion identifiers. When these platforms are enabled in Conversion Bridge, additional fields appear in both the form's Conversion Tracking tab and the button's Conversion Tracking panel. Enter the platform-specific conversion ID or label to ensure proper attribution.
