Fluent Affiliate

The Fluent Affiliate integration tracks affiliate registrations from the Fluent Affiliate plugin. Fluent Affiliate is a comprehensive affiliate marketing plugin for WordPress that allows you to create and manage affiliate programs.

This integration automatically tracks when new affiliates sign up for your affiliate program, helping you measure the effectiveness of your affiliate recruitment efforts.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Enable the Integration

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Settings → Conversion Bridge → Integrations
2. Find Fluent Affiliate in the list of available integrations
3. Enable the integration by checking the checkbox

Step 2: Configure Registration Tracking

1. Enable Track registrations to start tracking affiliate signups
2. Optionally customize the Register label (default: "Affiliate Registration")
3. Optionally enable Enhanced conversions to send affiliate email data to supported platforms

Step 3: Save Settings

Click Save Changes to activate the integration.

How It Works

When a new affiliate registers:

1. Affiliate Created: Fluent Affiliate creates the affiliate account and fires the fluent_affiliate/affiliate_created hook
2. Tracking Flag: Conversion Bridge marks the affiliate for tracking
3. Page Load: On the next page load (when the affiliate is logged in), Conversion Bridge tracks the registration event
4. Event Data: The event includes:
   • Affiliate email address (if enhanced conversions enabled)
5. Cleanup: The tracking flag is removed after tracking to prevent duplicate events

Tracked Data

The affiliate registration event includes:

• Event Type: Registration event
• Label: Customizable label (default: "Affiliate Registration")
• Customer Data (if enhanced conversions enabled):
  • Email address

Enhanced Conversions

When Enhanced conversions is enabled, Conversion Bridge automatically includes the affiliate's email address with registration events. This data is sent to platforms that support enhanced conversions (such as Google Ads and Meta Ads) to improve conversion tracking accuracy and attributionThe process of determining which channels, campaigns, or actions contributed to a conversion, helping you understand what influenced a visitor’s decision to take action..

Enhanced conversion data is only sent to platforms that support it and is handled according to each platform's privacy requirements.

Custom Event Labels

You can customize the registration event label to better identify events in your analytics platforms:

• Register Label: Default is "Affiliate Registration"

Example Labels:

• Affiliate Registration (default)
• New Affiliate Signup
• Affiliate Program Registration

Platform Support

The Fluent Affiliate integration works with all analytics and ad platforms supported by Conversion Bridge, including:

• Google Analytics 4
• Meta Ads (Facebook Pixel)
• Google Ads
• Microsoft Ads
• LinkedIn Ads
• And all other supported platforms

Important Notes

One-Time Tracking

The integration is designed to track each affiliate registration only once:

• A tracking flag is set when the affiliate is created
• The event is tracked on the next page load when the affiliate is logged in
• The tracking flag is removed after tracking to prevent duplicate events
