Growify
Growify is a marketing analytics and attributionThe process of determining which channels, campaigns, or actions contributed to a conversion, helping you understand what influenced a visitor’s decision to take action. tool. It tracks where your visitors come from and which campaigns turn into revenue. Conversion Bridge loads Growify's tracking script for you and sends your conversions to it automatically, so purchases and leads from all your WordPress plugins show up in Growify without any code.
Setting Up Growify
- Log in to your Growify account
- Go to Settings → PowerPixel
- Copy your API Key
- Paste it into the API Key field in Settings → Conversion Bridge → Platforms
- Click Save Changes to start tracking
Growify records page views on its own once the script is loaded, so you don't need to configure anything for basic traffic reporting.
What Gets Sent
Growify sorts activity into three kinds, and Conversion Bridge picks the right one for each conversion.
Conversions are purchases, donations, and bookings that have a value. These carry the full order details: the total, the currency, the order number, tax, shipping, and a list of the products bought with their names, prices, and quantities.
Leads are form submissions, registrations, subscribes, and trials. A lead has no order value, so each one is reported as a value of 1 along with the form name and where it came from.
Everything else, like button clicks and downloads, is sent as a general event named after what happened.
Every event also includes a conversion label and a conversion value. You can read more about those in the Conversion Label and Conversion Value guide.
Individual product lines from an order are not sent separately. Sending both the order and each item inside it would count the same revenue twice.
Server-Side Forwarding
Growify can forward your conversions on to ad platforms like Meta from its own servers. The Enable server-side forwarding setting tells Growify to do that.
Only turn this on if you have already enabled the Conversion API inside your Growify workspace. Turning it on here without setting it up there does nothing.
If you also use Conversion Bridge's own Meta Conversions API, turn one of them off. With both running, Meta receives every purchase twice and has no way to tell that the two are the same conversion, so your reported results will be inflated.
Customer Data
With enhanced conversions turned on, Conversion Bridge also sends the customer's email address and name along with each conversion, which lets Growify tie the conversion to a real person and improve its attribution.
Growify matches on the plain values, so unlike most platforms this data is not scrambled before it is sent. If you would rather not share customer details with Growify, leave enhanced conversions off.
The Include user info setting sends extra details about logged-in users from your plugin integrations. You can read more in the User Info guide.
Using the Growify Plugin
Growify offers its own WordPress plugin. You only need one of the two. If both Conversion Bridge and the Growify plugin are active, the tracking script gets added twice and your numbers will be wrong, so Conversion Bridge will warn you if it spots this.
Pick whichever you prefer and turn the other one's tracking off.
