Where do I find the Website ID?

The Website ID is a required field so the tracking script knows which site to record data. In your Umami account:

• Go to the "Websites" page
• Click on "Edit" for the website you want to track
• Copy the "Website ID" field

Where do I find the Share URL?

The Share URL allows you to share your website stats with anyone. Conversion Bridge uses this URL to add a new menu link in your WordPress admin to make accessing your stats easier. This is not a required field.

• Go to the "Websites" page
• Click on "Edit" for the website you want to track
• Click the "Share URL" tab
• Toggle the "Enable share URL" option
• Copy the URL and paste into the Conversion Bridge settings

What is a Custom Domain?

Umami lets you serve the tracking script from your own domain instead of the default Umami URL. This is useful for white labeling and makes it less likely your tracking script is blocked by ad blockers, which keeps your analytics more accurate. Set up the custom domain in your Umami account, then enter the URL in the Conversion Bridge settings.

Can I record session replays and heatmaps?

Yes. Umami can record what visitors do on your pages, so you can watch a replay of a session or see a heatmap of where people click and scroll.

Turn on Session Replays & Heatmaps in the Conversion Bridge settings and Conversion Bridge will load Umami's recorder script for you.

Two things have to be true for it to work:

• You need Umami 3.1 or newer for session replays, and 3.2 or newer for heatmaps
• You also have to enable it in your Umami website settings, since Conversion Bridge only loads the script

This option is not available if you have chosen to exclude the tracking script, because the recorder needs Conversion Bridge to be the one loading Umami.

Do I need to exclude the script tag?

By default, Conversion Bridge will add the core JavaScript tag to your website for the basic page view tracking. However, if you have used another plugin or a custom code method for including the main JavaScript tracking code, you can exclude Conversion Bridge from also adding this tracking script and causing double page views.
