UserBird
UserBird Analytics is a privacy-focused analytics platform that provides website analytics without using cookiesA small piece of data stored in a user’s browser that helps websites remember user activity, preferences, or sessions across visits.. Conversion Bridge integrates with UserBird Analytics to automatically track pageviews and conversion events from your WordPress site.
This integration allows you to:
- Track pageviews automatically
- Send conversion events to UserBird Analytics
- View analytics data in your WordPress admin (if Share URL is configured)
- Track revenue events with product information
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Get Your Site ID
- Log in to your UserBird dashboard
- Navigate to your site settings
- Find your Site ID (this is required for tracking)
- Copy the Site ID
Step 2: Enable UserBird Analytics
- In your WordPress admin, go to Settings → Conversion Bridge → Platforms
- Find Userbird in the list of available platforms
- Enable the platform by checking the checkbox
Step 3: Configure Settings
- Site ID (required): Enter your UserBird Site ID
- Share URL (optional): Enter your UserBird Share URL to access analytics in your WordPress admin
- This allows you to view your UserBird analytics dashboard directly in WordPress
- Get this URL from your UserBird dashboard
Step 4: Save Settings
Click Save Changes to activate UserBird Analytics tracking.
Event Types
UserBird Analytics receives different event types:
Revenue Events: Events with a value/amount
- Sent as
revenueevents - Includes amount, currency, product name, and quantity
- For events with multiple items, separate revenue events are sent for each item
Form Submit Events: Form submission events
- Sent as
form_submitevents - Includes form name and form ID
- Includes additional form data as event properties
Custom Events: Events without revenue value
- Sent as
custom_eventevents - Includes event name
Tracked Data
Revenue Events
Revenue events include:
- amount: The purchase/transaction amount
- currency: Currency code (e.g., USD, EUR)
- product: Product name (limited to 100 characters)
- quantity: Item quantity
- event_type: Always "revenue"
For events with multiple items, each item is sent as a separate revenue event.
Form Submit Events
Form submit events include:
- form_name: The form title/name
- form_id: The form ID
- Additional properties: Other form data (sanitized)
Custom Events
Custom events include:
- name: The event name (limited to 100 characters)
WordPress Admin Integration
If you configure the Share URL, you can access your UserBird analytics dashboard directly from your WordPress admin:
- The analytics dashboard will appear in your WordPress admin menu
- Click on it to view your UserBird analytics data
- This provides a seamless experience without leaving WordPress
The Share URL is optional. If not configured, you can still access your analytics through the UserBird dashboard directly.
Event Formatting
Product Names
- Product names are limited to 100 characters
- For product variations, the variant name is used if available
- SKU is appended to product name if available (format: "Product Name - SKU")
Multiple Items
When a conversion event includes multiple items (e.g., a cart with multiple products):
- Each item is sent as a separate revenue event
- Each event includes the individual item's price, quantity, and product name
- This allows you to see individual product performance in UserBird Analytics
Privacy Features
UserBird Analytics is privacy-focused:
- No Cookies: UserBird Analytics does not use cookies
- Privacy Compliant: Complies with GDPR and other privacy regulations
- No Personal Data: Does not collect personally identifiable information
